I’ve been looking for a pair of military green khakis to add to my ever-growing pants collection for ages, but I can never seem to find the right style. This is army-inspired clothing — you want them to be slim but not skinny, sturdy but not bomb-resistant, and despite the fact that they’re incredibly on-trend right now, I’m not a fan of cargo pants, so I also need them to be side-pockets free. This pair by L.A.-based brand Civilianaire hits the nail on the head in all regards. They’ve got a bit of technical detailing in the form of those double-reinforced front pockets, they’re the perfect color, and they’ll look just as good with a plain white tee as they will with an oxford and casual sportcoat.
