It’s my opinion that there are two different types of luxury shoppers in this world: The ones who buy something from a brand as a flashy representation of their wealth; and the ones who buy something from a brand because it’s the best possible version of that thing. This briefcase from Saint Laurent falls firmly onto the want-list of the latter customer. This is not a briefcase that feels the need to scream its label’s name with monogrammed leather or ostentatious logos, it’s content to sit back and let the details do the talking (made in Italy, no logo). And that’s about as big a compliment as you could possibly give a luxury briefcase, if you ask me.
