Field Scout’s Khaki Utility Jacket

There are times that call for a sportcoat, there are times that call for a Harrington, and there are times that call for something in between. Field Scout’s Utility Jacket definitely falls into the latter category. Cut short and trim, the jacket’s zip-up closure and front patch pockets ensure its casual classification, but the buttons and notch lapel mean that it can be worn slightly more formally if the need arises. I’d wear this one buttoned up over a polo with my best pair of beaten-up jeans, or open over a plain white T-shirt with olive chinos. Dress it up or down with some navy bucks or canvas high tops and you’ll be good to go.
