What are you most looking forward to seeing here in Paris?
Well I just saw it, it was the Vuitton show. I’ve obviously been following Kim [Jones] for years and it was really interesting to see what he was going to do and I think he did exactly what needed to be done with it. He kind of took on the French Riviera and a bit of the ‘70s and kept it really masculine in the way that he does really well, lots of great sportswear as well as some really killer suits.
What’s your personal wardrobe strategy for the week?
I’m wearing pretty much all A.P.C. and just navy. Navy and stripes and the odd print. It’s a nice blue sky, there’s lots of nice blue this season – Issey Miyake had a rather lovely Yves Klein blue this morning so I’m just thinking shades of blue and grey.
And what sort of shoes are those?
They’re from a London brand called You Must Create.
What’s your favorite place to go shopping here in Paris?
The flea markets are great. I nearly bought a giant apple the last time I was here. I sort of zip between Hermés and Missoni to buy lots of orange things because that’s what I’m feeling at the moment.
Favorite drink here in Paris?
Oh god, whatever I’m given usually turns out alright, I don’t have a Paris drink, in Milan it’s a Negroni, here it’s… ah… I had a nice martini at the Hemingway bar once, so that’d be it.
